I’m Rachel, a communication professional, who combines research with written and visual storytelling to forge a human connection with the public.
Recently, I’ve worked as a social media assistant account manager for Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Preparing daily posts, interviewing people and creating visual messaging utilized my natural gifts.I love working on owned content and being a bridge to the public. Using words and images to communicate and inspire an audience is the highlight of my day. That’s why I decided to pursue a career working in communication.
I write in APA, Chicago Manual of Style and MLA formats and am open to learning other style guides.

Learned Spanish after high school and lived in Spain for a decade. Earned an AA in Screenwriting (in Spanish), then worked at a local television station as a production assistant, going on to write/host my own show teaching children English
Over my life, I’ve honed the innate talents of storytelling and visual thinking, collaborating creatively, and delving deeply into learning, while using strong interpersonal skills to put myself in someone else’s shoes and communicate ideas. I am a natural connector with an attention to details in whatever I pursue.
